This month, August 2018, I will graduate with a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education.  When I reflect on these last two years, I am thankful to my family and friends who have supported me along this difficult, yet rewarding journey.  This program has allowed me to take charge of my learning path and given me the opportunity to select courses that have shaped not only my teaching practice, but also my personal identity.

I am grateful to each of my professors for sharing their expertise, knowledge and passion for their subjects, while also challenging me to think critically and engage professionally with peers.  Self Reflection is an ongoing tool that I have used to document my ever-changing personal and professional identity.  Journals and notebooks are typically where I collect my thoughts, although you may sometimes find a scattering of post-it notes on my wall at home.

In connection to my career goals, I believe self-reflection has helped me to consistently engage in making sense of my goals, achievements and failures.  Technology has admittedly been an exciting way to explore documentation through digital tools.  I endeavor to integrate these tools into my teaching practice in the hopes that students can engage in meaningful expression of their process and personal journey.
